Dr. Michael B. Ho
Dr. Michael Ho is originally from Taiwan but spent most of his childhood in Singapore. He attended Northwestern University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Dr. Ho then went on the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with High Honors and was one of the few students selected for membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the National Dental Honor Society, dentistry’s version of Phi Beta Kappa)
After earning his doctorate, Dr. Ho went on the complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at Winslow Indian Health Care Center in Northern Arizona.
Dr. Ho is an active member of several dental associations, including the San Diego County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also enrolled in continue education from Spear Education and the American Academy of of Implant Dentistry.
In his leisure time, Dr. Ho enjoys playing golf, tennis, and spending time with his dog (Roary) and cat (Shadowfax).
Dr. Tian Yuan
Dr. Tian Yuan grew up right here in sunny San Diego’s North County and is so excited to be settled down back in her hometown. After graduating as valedictorian from La Costa Canyon High School, her studies took her to the east coast, where she graduated from Duke University and continued on to receive her doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tian then moved to Arizona to complete a general dental residency along with Dr. Ho, where they provided dental care in a public health setting to the Navajo population.
Her eagerness to further her dental knowledge drives her to be an active member of the California Dental Assoc., American Dental Assoc., Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She chooses to take well over the required number of continuing educational hours to become a better provider for her patients. Dr. Tian strives to provide ideal, patient-centered care regardless of their backgrounds.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Tian enjoys singing, cooking, exploring the city, fostering cats, and dabbling in new hobbies. She and Dr. Ho enjoy spoiling Roary with days at the dog beach!
